Frequently Asked Questions
What cuts are in the Land and Pasture Box?
The Land and Pasture Box includes one boneless ribeye, one New York strip steak, two baseball cut sirloin steaks, one package of ground beef patties, one whole chicken, two packages of chicken breast, two packages of bone-in chicken thighs, and one Cattle Drive Beef Seasoning shaker. It is designed to cover every cooking occasion — from premium weekend grilling to versatile weeknight dinners.
Is all the beef in this box truly grass-fed and finished?
Yes. Every beef cut in this box is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished — never grain finished at any point. No added hormones, steroids, or antibiotics across any cut. This is a non-negotiable standard at Ferguson Farms.
How is the chicken raised?
All chicken in this box is pasture-raised with outdoor access, fresh air, and room to move. It is produced without antibiotics or added hormones, resulting in richer flavor and a dependable texture across every cut — from the whole bird to the thighs.
Can I customize the contents of the box?
The Land and Pasture Box is intentionally curated with a fixed selection. If you prefer full control, you can shop individual cuts from our full catalog and build a custom order.
How long will the cuts last in the freezer?
When kept frozen in vacuum-sealed packaging, all cuts maintain peak quality for up to 12 months. For best flavor, consume within 6 to 9 months. Individual vacuum sealing prevents freezer burn far more effectively than standard packaging.
Does this box include free shipping?
Yes — free shipping is included on this box. No minimum order required.
How is the box packaged and shipped?
Every cut is individually vacuum-sealed. The box is packed in an insulated container with dry ice and ships frozen nationwide. Your order arrives ready for the freezer. Dry ice naturally dissipates during transit — if none remains upon arrival that is normal and expected. The meat will still be frozen solid.

"Finally a box that has both beef and chicken. The ribeye was outstanding and the chicken thighs were the best I've ever made at home. This is our permanent weekly box."
★★★★★
"My husband grills the steaks and I use the chicken for meal prep. This box literally covers our entire week. The quality is on another level compared to anything from the grocery store."
★★★★★
"The whole chicken alone is worth the box. Roasted it on Sunday and it fed our family of four twice. The beef patties are incredible — best burgers we've ever had at home."
★★★★★
"ButcherBox does not carry grass-fed and finished beef. Ferguson Farms does. The difference in taste is real. The Land and Pasture Box is the only subscription box I'll ever need."
