How Our Food Is Raised

Grass-Fed Is a Label. Grass-Finished Is a Standard.

Grass-fed and grass-finished are not the same claim. Some beef sold as grass-fed is finished on grain in its final months. Ours eats grass and forage its entire life.

We built Ferguson Farms for families who want to know where their food comes from and how it was raised. We raise and source 100% grass-fed and finished beef and pasture-raised chicken in Central Florida, working with trusted partner farms and ranches held to the same standards we hold ourselves to.

Meet Mike and Penni Ferguson

Better food starts with knowing where it comes from.

Our journey began with a doctor's visit that changed the way we looked at the food on our family's table. We started asking questions about how animals were raised, what they were fed, and what went into the meat we were eating.

Those questions led us to start Ferguson Farms in 2019.

Today, we work with trusted American farms, ranches, and fisheries to bring families 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef, pasture-raised poultry, and wild-caught seafood, raised and sourced according to standards we believe in.

We built Ferguson Farms around a simple idea: families deserve to know where their food comes from and how it was raised.

It's personal to us. The same meat we deliver to your family is the meat we serve at our own table.

Grass-Fed Meat FAQ

Is your beef 100% grass-fed and grass-finished?

Yes. Our beef cattle eat grass and forage their entire lives and are never finished on grain. The same standard applies to our bison, elk, and lamb.

Do you use GMOs, hormones, or antibiotics?

No, never. Our beef, bison, elk, lamb, and poultry are never given antibiotics, added hormones, or steroids, and none of the animals are genetically modified. Our pasture-raised poultry is fed non-GMO feed. Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in all poultry.

Where does Ferguson Farms meat come from?

We raise and source 100% grass-fed and finished beef and pasture-raised chicken in Central Florida, working with trusted partner farms and ranches held to the same standards we hold ourselves to. Our seafood is wild-caught and supplied through Wild Alaska Salmon and Seafood. Every product page shows exactly where that product comes from, whether a partner farm, ranch, or fishery.

How does shipping work?

Start by creating your account and entering your delivery address. Your account shows your delivery schedule for your location, including your order deadline and the day your order will arrive, so you always know exactly when to expect it. Every order is packed frozen with insulation and dry ice. Standard shipping covers our 1-Day and 2-Day Ground delivery zones and is free on orders over $179. Addresses outside those zones ship by extended service, which has higher order minimums and free-shipping thresholds. Your account shows the exact amounts for your address.

Is your beef aged?

No. We do not age our beef. Every cut is vacuum-sealed and frozen after processing.

Are your products gluten-free?

Our meat products contain no added gluten ingredients or seasonings, and our meat-processing facility is certified gluten-free. Nothing is seasoned during processing.

How does Subscribe and Save work?

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. Ferguson Farms is an online, direct-to-consumer company that ships to all 48 contiguous states, straight to your door. We do not currently ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Orders are packed frozen with insulation and dry ice for the trip.
