No. We do not use mRNA vaccines and have no plans to adopt them. In rare, life-threatening cases (e.g., tetanus or avian influenza), we may use traditional vaccines; all vaccines are cleared from the animal’s system well before harvest.

Longer ground routes (typically 3–4 day ground) sometimes require a small handling fee to cover thicker insulation, additional dry ice, and added packing time to ensure your box stays safely frozen the entire way. If applicable, this fee is clearly shown at checkout. See How Home Delivery Works.
Orders ship fully frozen in an insulated box with dry ice. Every cut is individually vacuum-sealed (cryovac) to lock in freshness and maximize freezer life; ground items are packed in standard sizes. All meat is USDA-inspected. Read shipping tips on our Blog.
We use heavy-duty corrugate, recyclable liners where available, and dry ice. Please recycle cardboard and plastics per your local guidelines; handle and dispose of dry ice safely. Packaging may vary by season/route to ensure quality. See How Home Delivery Works.
No signature is required. Your box includes enough dry ice to stay frozen for hours after delivery. Please unpack and freeze/refrigerate items shortly after arrival.
If items are still cold to the touch (≤40°F), they’re safe to cook or refreeze—similar to grocery meat. If anything arrives warm or you have concerns, contact us—we’ll make it right under our Customer Guarantee (see How Home Delivery Works).
