Blackened Chicken Wings

These Blackened Chicken Wings are coated in smoky, spicy Cajun seasoning and grilled until crispy and tender. Made with Ferguson Farms’ Pasture-Raised Chicken Wings, they’re the perfect tailgate recipe for game day!

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Pasture-Raised Chicken Wings (Party Style) (Order here)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp blackened seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Optional: Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Homemade Blackened Seasoning:

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Wings:
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Season the Wings:
    • Sprinkle the blackened seasoning over the wings, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  3. Grill the Wings:
    • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Arrange the wings on the grill grates and cook for 8-10 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Add the Butter Glaze:
    • During the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush the wings with melted butter to enhance the flavor and crispness.
  5. Serve & Enjoy:
    • Remove the wings from the grill and serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
