Blackened Chicken Wings
These Blackened Chicken Wings are coated in smoky, spicy Cajun seasoning and grilled until crispy and tender. Made with Ferguson Farms’ Pasture-Raised Chicken Wings, they’re the perfect tailgate recipe for game day!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Pasture-Raised Chicken Wings (Party Style) (Order here)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp blackened seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Optional: Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping
Homemade Blackened Seasoning:
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Steps:
- Prepare the Wings:
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season the Wings:
- Sprinkle the blackened seasoning over the wings, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Grill the Wings:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Arrange the wings on the grill grates and cook for 8-10 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Add the Butter Glaze:
- During the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush the wings with melted butter to enhance the flavor and crispness.
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Remove the wings from the grill and serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
